1:32 angle of attack sensors for the Super Hornet and the Growler, early type is a turned metal accessory that replaces the plastic sensors on the nose of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal accessory in 1:32 scale from the Polish brand MASTER. It is not a kit of an aircraft, but a replacement detail meant for a model you already have part-built. It replaces the angle of attack sensors on the forward fuselage of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and the EA-18G Growler, in the form matching the early type; the late type is a separate item from the same brand.
An angle of attack sensor measures the angle at which the air flows past the nose of the aircraft. Both the flight control system and the landing-mode indication need its figure, which on a carrier aircraft is critical: an approach to the deck is flown at an exactly set speed and attitude. On the real aircraft it is a small vane on the side of the nose, that is in a place everyone who sees the model close up will look at. In the large 1:32 scale the difference between a thin metal part and a plastic molding that necessarily has to be thickened is especially apparent.
For modelers who are building a large Super Hornet or Growler and want the nose to be right even when seen from centimeters away. Settle the difference between the early and the late type according to the machine you are building: the two variants are separate items.
