A set of three highly detailed resin figures in 1:35 scale by Thunder Model. The figures represent the crew of the British Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) of the Second World War period and suit both patrol vehicles and a display case of their own.
The Long Range Desert Group was a British reconnaissance and raiding unit operating in the North African desert. Its soldiers were marked by improvised desert equipment: Arab head scarves, sand goggles, light clothing and plenty of personal kit adapted to long patrols in the field.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them together with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. Khaki and sand shades suit the desert equipment, with dust and sand washes and pigments at the end.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
