With aircraft whose wings were braced with cables and wires, the final impression a model makes is decided by the look of the bracing itself. The set offers a turnbuckle together with an anchor part, that is the element by which the cable was secured and tensioned on the real machine. In a kit it tends to be suggested by a shallow relief only, or is missing from it altogether.
A stretched thread on its own looks flat. The moment a turnbuckle with an anchor is seated in it, the bracing gains both scale and depth, and the model will stand a close look and a detailed photograph. The range distinguishes two renditions, type A and type B, and this item is type B.
For more experienced builders who have already rigged bracing and want to take it further. Anyone building a biplane for the first time should expect work with parts of this size to be slow and to go piece by piece.
The package contains only the accessories stated. The model, the thread for the bracing, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
