A replacement gun barrel by RYE FIELD MODEL for models of the American M1128 Mobile Gun System (Stryker) wheeled gun vehicle in 1:35 scale. The 105 mm M68A1E4 barrel is made by 3D printing in resin in one piece, so there are no halves to glue together and no lengthwise seam to clean up. It offers accurate muzzle geometry and a perfectly straight profile, which with plastic barrels from a mold is far from a given.
The barrel replaces the original part of the base model. Wash the uncured resin residue off it, cut it carefully from the raft print support and seat it in the mount; glue with super glue. Once painted, the muzzle can be picked out lightly in a darker shade and scorch and dust marks added.
For modelers who want a perfectly straight, detailed barrel on a Stryker without the laborious cleaning up of a plastic part.
This is a resin accessory. It contains neither paints nor a whole model.
