A detail set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio for models of the Czechoslovak jet trainer Aero L-39C in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a collection of fully colored 3D raised decals on decal paper completed by several 3D-printed resin parts. It replaces the flat cockpit parts with a faithful three-dimensional and colored interior of both cockpits.
The decals are produced by 3D printing, have real relief and are colored in advance, including the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seat harness. They are applied as wet decals - after soaking they slide off the paper onto the relevant part; the resin accessories are bonded with super glue. Painting the small details by hand is thereby unnecessary. A clean smooth base is advisable; do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin.
The Aero L-39 Albatros is a Czechoslovak two-seat jet trainer and light combat aircraft, one of the most widespread machines of its kind, used by dozens of air forces around the world. The glazed tandem cockpit with its richly subdivided instruments is ideal for detailing.
The set contains 3D interior decals and resin parts, not a model of the aircraft. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
