This is not a vehicle model but a diorama accessory, a piece of furniture. The rocking chair is made by high-resolution SLA 3D printing in resin in 1:35 scale. It will serve as a striking piece of furniture for a domestic or an outdoor scene.
A rocking chair suits living interiors, porches and doorsteps as well as an outdoor seat. In a scene it makes a point of calm which, together with a figure, gives the setting a story and a human dimension. In the popular 1:35 scale the detail of the frame and the weave of the backrest come into their own.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, take off the print supports and sand them lightly with respiratory protection; the thin bent elements are fragile, so handle them with care. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. A wooden look comes from brown shades, glazing and fine washes. A matte or semi-gloss varnish ties the surface together.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The paints, the glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
