Eduard photo-etched ammunition belts for the 0.50 inch caliber machine gun in 1:35 scale are a universal photo-etched accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched (brass) set of details in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model but a universal accessory: a set of fine ammunition belts for the American 0.50 inch caliber heavy machine gun. The photo-etched belts replace coarse or missing plastic parts at machine gun positions on tanks, armored vehicles and in dioramas, and they make a finished scene noticeably more realistic.
The American 0.50 inch caliber heavy machine gun (the Browning M2) was among the most widely used armament of armored vehicles and fixed positions during the Second World War and afterwards. It was fed by linked ammunition belts, which are often shown openly beside the weapon and add life to a scene.
Separate the photo-etched belts carefully from the fret, shape them gently into a natural sag and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Give the brass a primer before varnishing, then tone the brass rounds with metallic shades and pick them out with washes. Belts with a sag look more natural than stiff straight parts.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
