A plastic detail set of weapons from the AR-15/M16/M4 range by the company Trumpeter in 1:35 scale. The set holds several pieces of the modern American carbines M4 and M4A1, while the variant of the M4 with the underbarrel 40 mm M203 grenade launcher adds firepower. It is not a model of a vehicle or of a figure - it is an accessory for arming figures and livening up dioramas.
Separate and clean up the small parts carefully, align the joints and glue them with liquid modeling cement. Paint the metal parts in a dark steel color and the stocks and grips in shades of black polymer and accessories; gently lightening the edges with a dry brush will bring out the detail. Please tell this more modern set apart from the variant with the Vietnam-era XM-177 E1/E2 carbines.
For modelers of figures and of modern dioramas, collectors of small arms in 1:35 scale and those interested in the gear of contemporary American units.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
