A sheet of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet offers markings for several variants of the Ukrainian BTR-70 armored personnel carriers deployed in peacekeeping missions on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. You will find here prominent white lettering, tactical numbers, state and mission insignia and further captions for building more than one version of the same vehicle.
The real subjects are the wheeled BTR-70 armored vehicles of the Ukrainian contingents, which in the 1990s served with the international peacekeeping forces in the area of the Balkan conflicts. Characteristic are the conspicuous white identification lettering and insignia, which were to set the vehicles apart as neutral peacekeeping units, supplemented by the registration and tactical numbers of particular machines.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface gone over with gloss varnish, so that no silvering effect arises under the film. Cut the individual designs out as close to the printing as possible, dip them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide them onto the model. For perfect adhesion to detail and rivets use a decal softener, and at the end fix the finished markings with a matte or satin varnish.
