Responsibility details are not available.
The ZB vz. 37 heavy machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber was part of the armament of the Czechoslovak army and, besides infantry use, was also fitted into fortifications and into the turrets of armored vehicles. It was made by the Brno arms factory and after 1939 went on serving in foreign hands as well, so it appears on models of equipment from the whole first half of the 1940s. The barrel with its cooling jacket is its most conspicuous recognition feature, and it is precisely that which is most visible on a model.
These are turned metal replacement barrels in 1:35 scale, which replace the parts from a kit. A turned part holds a circular section over its whole length, so there are no production marks on it of the kind that have to be laboriously sanded away on a barrel. According to the name there are two pieces in the package.
Cut the original part off with a saw or a sharp blade and level the surface. If the barrel seats into a hole, clean it out and try the fit dry before you reach for the glue. Choose the glue according to the material of the part, which is given in the manufacturer's instructions; cyanoacrylate glue holds on most materials. Wash and degrease the part before painting, so that the primer does not peel, and apply the paint in a thin coat.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
