Star Decals 1:35 Befehls-Panzers is a set of decals with the markings of German command tanks, specifically the command Panthers Ausf A and G and the command PzKpfw IV Ausf J.
Responsibility details are not available.
These Star Decals markings in 1:35 scale are focused on German command tanks. The name gives the command Panthers in the Ausf A and G versions, the command PzKpfw IV Ausf J and the standard PzKpfw IV Ausf H. The set holds decals for a finished model, not plastic parts.
Command tanks differed from standard machines mainly in their internal equipment. They carried additional radio sets with a greater range and a further antenna, and the space for the signals gear was gained at the expense of stowed ammunition and part of the internal arrangement. Outwardly the difference was often small, sometimes recognizable only by the antennas and their mounts, which makes these vehicles a rewarding subject: you build them from the same base as a fighting tank, but the result rests on the markings and the detail. That is precisely why the markings of command equipment matter so much to a modeler.
The antennas and their mounts are fragile on a model and easy to catch, so apply the markings before you fit them. Work on a gloss base, and with the command numbers on the turret allow for the fact that they often differ from the numbering of ordinary vehicles. Once it has dried, matte the model down and build the patina up so that the markings stay legible.
