A resin set on the theme of the blacksmith's trade in 1:35 scale from the production of the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel. It is not a model of a vehicle or a figure but a diorama accessory, the equipment that will turn a corner of your scene into a living blacksmith's workshop. Plusmodel became famous for exactly such subjects: trades, the countryside and everyday life complete a diorama more than another piece of equipment.
A smithy used to be the heart of every village: horses had to be shod, tools repaired, and the military equipment of every army could not do without field and civilian smithies. The blacksmith theme therefore suits civilian scenes from the turn of the century just as well as dioramas of the Second World War, where soldiers made use of local workshops.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. When painting it pays to devote time to the surfaces: render the metal with a dark graphite base color with rust showing through, and the wood with drybrushing over brown shades. Pigments and washes will give the workshop the patina of years of use; scale, soot and dust are obligatory in a smithy.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, the parts are of resin. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
