British fuel cans in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Hauler are an accessory set for a model or diorama you have already bought, not a kit of a vehicle. They will complete the load on truck beds, on fenders and in supply scenes.

An accessory set of small fuel containers of the British type, which were nicknamed flimsies. It is not a model of a vehicle nor a kit but an accessory that is added to a finished model, to a load or to a diorama. Hauler is a Czech maker of aftermarket accessories.
The British army entered the Second World War with light tin containers holding four gallons, which were cheap and light but at the same time thin-walled and leaked easily during ordinary handling and transport over unpaved roads. The losses of fuel in supply, especially in North Africa, were considerable because of it, and the containers earned the mocking name flimsy, that is, frail. It was precisely this experience that led to the introduction of the sturdy pressed jerrycan with three handles, which became the standard. Empty cans went on being used for improvised purposes, from water carriers to cooking vessels.
The containers look best when they are not all the same. Paint some of them in good order and some with dented edges and dried traces of leaking fuel; a dark glossy wash drawn down from the neck will make exactly that impression. The basis is degreasing and a primer, then a muted shade, chipping with a thin brush along the edges and the corners brought out with a fine metallic pigment. Do not make the rust in one color but by layering several shades of brown and orange. Containers stacked in a crate or in the corner of a truck bed make a more credible impression than a regular row.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
