Twelve corrected road wheels for the British Centurion in 1:35 and a QW masking template, adapted for AFV Club kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Centurion was born while the war was still on, as a machine that was finally to carry a powerful gun and thick armor, but it did not manage to intervene in the fighting against the Wehrmacht. The British then rearmed it for two decades: from the 17-pounder gun through the 20-pounder to the legendary 105 mm L7. The Horstmann-type running gear carried the wheels in pairs on external walking beams, six in all on each side of the hull, and could be changed even outside a workshop. It was just this quality that got the Centurion from the Korean hills all the way to the Middle East and made it the basis for a whole range of later conversions.
In the package are twelve wheels, that is a full set of tires for both sides of the chassis, and with them a QW masking template. The disks are corrected in shape to the real subject, and the holes and the spacing correspond to the shafts that the AFV Club kit has on its chassis in 1:35.
Separate the wheels from the casting remainders with a fine-toothed saw, level the contact surface on a board with sandpaper and fit them all dry before you reach for the glue. Only then does it become clear whether the chassis stands straight. The template serves to separate the rubber tire from the disk while spraying, so the lengthy going round with a brush is dispensed with and the transition between the colors is sharp.
Choose it where the chassis will be visible: on a model without side skirts, on a diorama with rutted terrain, or in the event that you are dissatisfied with the shape of the production wheels.
