An injection-molded plastic kit of the British main battle tank Challenger 1 Mk.3 in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. Nylon mesh for reproducing the stowage baskets around the turret and two commander figures are included. The model faithfully captures the massive shape of the tank with its 120 mm gun.
The Challenger 1 became famous in the Gulf War of 1991, where its 120 mm gun destroyed a number of Iraqi tanks. The crew was protected by composite and reactive armor at the front and on the sides. The Mk.3 rendering is one of the modernized versions of this British armored vehicle.
First finish the running gear and the lower hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and apply the desert shade with an airbrush after the primer. Work the nylon mesh into the baskets according to the instructions, and suggest dust and sand with light pigments on the running gear and the sides.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
