Mr.Paint Verde Oliva Scuro — a modeling lacquer for airbrushing

Verde Oliva Scuro (dark olive green) is one of the basic upper camouflage shades of the Italian Air Force from 1916 to 1943. It is a lacquer-based paint, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It is supplied pre-thinned, ready to spray straight from the bottle, in a volume of roughly 30 ml. It forms a very thin, smooth, fast-drying film with excellent covering power.

Use

• The upper camouflage green of Italian fighters and bombers of the Second World War.
• It is applied with an airbrush only, in very thin coats; it is not meant for a brush.
• Thin it with lacquer (MRP) thinner, or a compatible leveling thinner — never with water.
• Fast drying allows short intervals between coats and fine misting of the mottling.
