1:35 Churchill Mk.VII is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for plastic models of the British Churchill Mk.VII infantry tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a brass accessory for detailing a build.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched brass set brings thin exterior parts that replace the simplified or overly heavy sections on a plastic kit. Typically these are the fenders, grilles, brackets, clasps and other fine details with which a model of the Churchill Mk.VII tank in 1:35 scale comes closer to the real thing. It is an accessory for more advanced modelers; the kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
The Churchill Mk.VII was a British infantry tank of the Second World War. It was marked by heavy armor and low speed, since its task was direct support of the infantry. Characteristic are the long track runs along the sides with their rollers and the robust hull; it is exactly these areas that a photo-etched set brings to life.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends with a bending tool or two rulers. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and spray it with a base color (primer), otherwise the paint holds poorly. Washes and pigments suit the weathering and bring out the rivets and recesses.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. It requires a separately bought Churchill Mk.VII kit in the matching scale. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
