Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for dioramas in 1:35 scale. It is not a model kit but building blocks that bring ordinary, everyday building material into a view. RT-Diorama runs the block range under several numbers, so a scene can be put together from several variants and does not look repetitive.
In the countryside the block turns up wherever building had to be done quickly and without a tradesman: the base courses of fences, cowsheds, sheds, shelters over a well, the repaired corners of barns. It is also seen where an original stone or earth building was patched up later - the contrast between the old and the new material is among the most rewarding subjects of a rural scene, because at first glance it speaks of time passing.
In a rural view it looks good when the blocks do not stand alone but complement another material - timber, stone, earth. A few pieces stacked by the wall of a shed suggest a job the farmer has started, while one broken piece sunk into the grass suggests a yard that has not been tidied for a long time. It pays to keep the level of the elements low around the edges of the base and to concentrate the height in the middle, so that the view has a clear center of gravity and the viewer knows where to look. A block also separates grass from a beaten track well.
