This is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model of a vehicle. It stands for a control and distribution cabinet, that is the element that in reality stands by machines, by gates, on platforms, by pumps or at the edge of a factory hall and gathers the controls of the works into one place. In a scene it is a typical point of reference beside which it makes sense to place a figure.
A technical setting tends to be the hardest part of a diorama, because buildings and terrain by themselves do not yet say what the space is for. A control cabinet says it at once: it is an element of operation, and from it the viewer understands that these are working premises. The accessory suits factory complexes, station and harbor support areas, power stations and city infrastructure. A broad period range is no problem either, because similar cabinets have accompanied industrial works throughout the twentieth century.
Place the cabinet where an operator could reach it - by a gate, by a machine, beside an access path, not in the middle of an open area.
