1:35 HAD models decals, German turret numbers, Second World War, part 4 is a decal sheet with tactical digits for models of armored equipment in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fourth part of a series of decal sheets with tactical numbers for models of German armored equipment of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. It is made by the Hungarian brand HAD models; the decals are wet, waterslide, printed on a clear carrier film from which the individual designs are cut one by one.
Tactical numbers made it possible to tell vehicles apart within a unit, as the individual digits corresponded to the company, the platoon and the vehicle's place in it. The style of the digits changed over time and between units, and that is exactly why the series of sheets has several parts: the modeler picks the style that matches the variant being built.
The base has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise air is trapped under the film and the edges silver. Cut the digit out close to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and let it release from the paper. Transfer it to the dampened place, set it with a brush and soak the surplus water up. With numbers of several digits, mark a guideline beforehand and apply the digits one after another while they are still movable. On busy areas a softener helps; once it is on, do not touch the film until it has dried. Finally unify the model with a matte varnish.
A decal sheet is an accessory for a model. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
