Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures from the post-apocalyptic Desert Battle Series by the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. The scene with the telling name Give it back! This is my booty! captures the warriors of the skull clan — the new amazons — arguing over a captured trophy.
The Desert Battle Series is not a historical line but a fantasy world after the apocalypse: a parched wasteland, raider clans, improvised equipment and weapons put together from whatever was left. The figures of the amazons with their dynamic poses and expressive faces are made for narrative mini scenes — on their own, or to bring a diorama with hardware wrecks and desert terrain to life.
The injection-molded plastic figures are assembled with an ordinary cement for polystyrene; clean the joints and any mold seams up gently. Brush painting with acrylics is ideal: build the skin shades up from the shadows to the highlights, bring the leather and the textiles to life with a wash and pick out the edges with drybrushing. A post-apocalyptic theme takes pronounced weathering — dirt, dust and scuffed equipment.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
