A set of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. It brings tactical numbers, crosses and markings for Panther Ausf G medium tanks and the command Befehls-Panther Ausf G as they were deployed in the fighting in East Prussia and at Königsberg. It is not a kit but an accessory for finishing a model faithfully.
The Panther Ausf G was the most produced version of the German Panther medium tank, which combined strong sloping frontal armor with a long high-velocity 75 mm gun. At the end of the war the Panthers took part in the defensive fighting on the Eastern Front, including the heavy clashes in East Prussia. Command versions carried extended radio equipment on top of that.
Varnish the surface under a decal with a gloss varnish, so that the markings adhere without silvering. Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water, slide it onto the model and seat it with a softener. At the end coat it with a matte varnish and bring it into line with the patina, the dust and the mud effects of the late war.
This is a set of decals on its own. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
