It is not a model of equipment but a fence part with a gate, which brings an entrance into a continuous fence line. The number in the name marks the version within the range of fences, which the ordinary fence panels follow on from as well.
A fence without an entrance comes across in a scene as a set piece - nobody can get behind it and the viewer senses that unconsciously. A gate is therefore an element that makes the whole enclosure logical: it gives the fence a reason, joins the street to the yard and offers a natural place for the action.
