This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard is intended to complete and refine the details of the plastic model of the British FV101 Scorpion light reconnaissance vehicle in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of photo-etched parts with fine metal features that replace or complete the plastic exterior pieces.
The FV101 Scorpion belongs to the family of British light tracked reconnaissance vehicles, the CVR(T). It was marked by a light aluminum structure, high mobility and a low silhouette. It served from the 1970s with the British Army and with a number of other users, and its chassis became the basis of a whole family of derived vehicles.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with super glue. Degrease the metal surfaces before painting and lay down a primer. Apply the patina and the dust effects only to the finished vehicle.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
