A set of four precisely turned metal barrels for models of the German 2 cm anti-aircraft guns Flak 38 and the four-barrel Flakvierling 38 in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Master. Four barrels with drilled and slotted flash hiders are enough either for one four-barrel Flakvierling mounting or for several single Flak 38 guns. They replace the original plastic parts and give the weapons a sharp look true to scale.
The 2 cm Flak 38 was the standard light anti-aircraft gun of the German army in the Second World War. In the Flakvierling 38 version four of these guns were combined in a single mounting with an exceptionally high rate of fire; the assembly was mounted on towed carriages, on vehicles and on tank chassis (the Flakpanzer Wirbelwind) and was the terror of low-flying aircraft. The slender barrels with their flash hiders are among the most conspicuous elements of the weapon.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and carefully drill the holes for the new parts. Glue the metal barrels with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, apply a base coat (a primer) to the metal to ensure the paint adheres; then spray thin coats with an airbrush and bring the barrels into line with the color of the whole weapon.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
