This is a resin set of accessories and cargo that a modeler uses to bring a plastic model of the German Fennek 1A2 light armored reconnaissance vehicle to life. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of castings that completes an already built kit with realistic cargo, field equipment and small detail. The castings come from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog, which is known among modelers for the quality of its resin castings.
The Fennek is a German and Dutch wheeled reconnaissance vehicle with a low silhouette and an extending sensor mast. In the 1A2 version it serves with the Bundeswehr for reconnaissance and observation. Cargo and the crew's personal kit belong among the typical items that turn a model into a believable scene.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or break them off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; then an airbrush works well for the base and oil or pigment effects for the weathering and the dust.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
