A set of four figures of a German mortar crew of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. An 8 cm GrW 34 mortar and ammunition boxes are included. The injection-molded plastic figures capture the crew at the moment of serving the weapon - two soldiers are holding the mortar, one is loading and one is directing the fire.
The 8 cm GrW 34 mortar was the standard medium mortar of the German infantry in the Second World War. It was served by several soldiers who took care of laying, loading and bringing up the ammunition. The weapon gave the infantry indirect fire support.
Assemble the mortar and the figures according to the instructions, and sand and fill the seams. Apply primer before painting. Bring the wooden and metal ammunition boxes to life with a different texture; shade the uniforms with a wash into the folds and with a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
