A figure of a German officer of the First World War period in 1:35 scale. An officer figure behaves differently in a scene from a rank-and-file infantryman: he stands upright, keeps his distance from both the hardware and the others, and draws the eye wherever you place him. That is exactly why he suits being the center of a scene, around which the rest is built up.
It is a standalone figure for a diorama or for hardware in the same scale. The 1:35 scale carries fine painting of a face and shading of fabric and is widespread enough that terrain accessories, bases and display cases for it are easy to find. A standalone figure also manages without an extensive build and looks good even on a small base with a piece of terrain under its feet.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. An officer's uniform tends to be cleaner than an infantryman's, so restrained soiling and work with light and shadow pay off with it. The assembly procedure is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
