The corner of a house in 1:35 scale for building a diorama. Two walls meeting at a corner give a display a background and establish clearly that the action is taking place among buildings.

The corner of a building is a proven way to get architecture into a diorama without building a whole house. Two walls meeting at a corner frame a scene on two sides while leaving enough open room for hardware and figures. The 1:35 scale matches the most widespread range of military models, so the item fits what you already have in a display case.
A corner has proved itself as the rear edge of a scene. The viewer's eye runs into the wall and returns to the model, which keeps the attention inside the display. When photographing, the corner also creates a shadow that gives the ground depth. A vehicle standing at an angle to the corner looks more natural than a vehicle parallel with the wall.
Set the item up dry on the ground first and check that both walls meet it; leveling the base is easier before gluing than after. Choose the glue according to the material of the part and according to the manufacturer's instructions. Clear the dust off the surface before painting. A continuous base, a dry brush on the molded relief and a dark glaze into the joints create convincing masonry. Add dust at the foot of the wall and darker traces of water at the eaves.
Paints, glue, figures, models of hardware and material for terrain are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
