I.D.F. Namer-1 IFV is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli heavy infantry fighting vehicle derived from the chassis of the Merkava tank, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit from Hobby Boss in 1:35 scale captures the Israeli Namer heavy infantry fighting vehicle in its IFV version. It is a new mold; the kit reproduces the massive armored hull, the running gear and the remote controlled weapon station.
The Namer is an Israeli heavily armored carrier and infantry fighting vehicle built on the chassis and part of the hull of the Merkava main battle tank. The IFV version is armed with a remote controlled weapon station with an automatic cannon, which combines high protection for the crew and the dismounts with firepower. The vehicle was designed with the emphasis on survival in densely built-up as well as open terrain.
Finish the running gear and the hull sides before painting; the Israeli sand gray is best applied with an airbrush over a primer. The broken-up armor and the weapon station stand out with washes, paint chipping and dust weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
