IDF water jerrycans, 5 pieces in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ELEFANT - a small pack of castings for completing one vehicle or a small scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The smallest pack in the range of water jerrycans in 1:35 scale - five castings, enough to complete one vehicle or a small corner of a diorama. It is not a kit; it is an accessory added to a finished model. If you only want to liven up a hull or fill one storage rack, this size suits the job better than a bulk set.
A water jerrycan is one of those objects that are practically never missing from photographs of Israeli equipment - hanging from grab handles, lying in racks, propped against the turret. For a model it matters unexpectedly much: it breaks up the uniform surface of the hull and gives the vehicle the scale and the lived-in look that the plastic from a kit alone does not have.
Cutting the parts off the casting block is the most delicate step with these castings. Use a fine-toothed saw or a fresh scalpel and cut at a distance from the casting, not right up against it - the remainder can then be sanded back on abrasive paper laid flat. Plastic nippers often crack a casting at its thinnest point. Level the area left by the gate so that the jerrycan stands upright; a piece leaning over is immediately visible on a model. After that it is just washing, primer and paint. With five pieces you can afford to treat each one individually - leave one almost new, make the next scuffed on the edges and the last dusty with a trace of spilled water down one side.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
