1:35 Israeli soldiers patrol set is a group figure item from Black Dog in 1:35 scale; the plural in the name sets it apart from the individual numbered positions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The name uses the plural and the word set, so this item stands at a different place in the line from the separate numbered positions. A group item solves a situation every diorama builder knows: individual figures bought one at a time often look like standalone exhibits, whereas a set is meant as one scene from the start.
Before you glue anything, lay the figures out dry and photograph them from above. In the photograph you will see at once whether they are standing in a row as if on parade. The aim is an irregular triangle with varying gaps and with the gazes pointing in different directions. The setting can be a dusty access road, the open ground in front of a low building or the area around a barrier, where stopping has a logic to it.
Paint the figures separately off the base and join them only at the end. To make them look like one group all the same, go over them finally with the same thinned toning coat and the same dust from the ground; it is the shared grime that welds a scene together. Leave small variations in the fading of the uniform, by contrast, as a uniform group looks like copies of a single casting.
