This is a set of detailed 3D printed resin parts in 1:35 scale, not a vehicle kit. The accessory captures the British twenty-liter jerrycan with its characteristic handles, pressed relief and cap. It brings Allied dioramas, the cargo beds of vehicles and supply scenes to life beautifully.
The British army took over the proven design of the German standard can, hence the popular name jerry can, where Jerry refers to a German soldier. The twenty-liter container became the standard of Allied supply of fuel and water in the later years of the Second World War and after it.
Separate the parts carefully from their support blocks, clean the surfaces up and wash them in lukewarm soapy water. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. British khaki (SCC) suits it, along with fine wear on the edges and brown or dusty washes to pick out the relief and the lettering.
The accessory is supplied as an unpainted resin part. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
