Responsibility details are not available.
A self-adhesive masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Junkers Ju-87G-1/2 Stuka dive bomber and antitank aircraft in 1:35 scale. The TFace version brings masks for both sides of the glazing, so you can paint the frames of the many-paned canopy from the outside as well as the inside. It is not a model and not a decal but a set of precisely cut masks in yellow Japanese kabuki paper.
The cockpit of the Stuka has a great many frames and masking them by hand takes a long time. The TFace designation means a double set of masks, for the outer and the inner side, so that the interior frames get the correct color seen through the glass. The result is crisp edges and a faithful look to the glazing.
Degrease the surfaces, lift the masks off with tweezers and press them precisely onto the frames, pressing the edges down because of paint creeping underneath. You usually spray the inner color of the frames first and mask the outside once it is dry. Spray in thin coats and remove the mask while the paint is fresh.
