Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a German officer cast in resin in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a separate figural casting intended for a diorama or for a display case. The name dates the item to 1943 and ties it to the area of Kharkov, which serves above all as a guide for choosing the uniform and the color scheme. The package is supplied unpainted, and the number of parts is stated on the box.
A resin casting captures the sharp edges of equipment, buttons, seams and the texture of fabric better than injection-molded plastic. On officer figures the most demanding areas tend to be exactly the face and the cap, where the final impression is decided. The stance is set by the mold and cannot be adjusted, so plan the composition of the diorama around the figure. Any small parts cast separately are fragile and it is a good idea to cut them off only just before gluing.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, and do any sanding wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with superglue, and gaps should be filled with superglue with a filler or with modeling putty. A thin primer follows. A German army uniform of this period is usually painted in gray-green shades, but choose the particular shade according to the reference you are comparing the figure with, because it differed both over time and between makers. Oil paints are suited to smooth shading of fabric, and acrylics and a fine brush to the small details of the equipment.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
