DEF Model 1:35 Korean War 1950 Refugees (1) is a resin figure of a civilian refugee from the Korean War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin figure capturing a civilian refugee from the Korean War of 1950 in 1:35 scale. The accessory is meant to complete a diorama or a scene with vehicles; it adds a human dimension and a sense of the period to a wartime situation. It is neither a vehicle nor a complete diorama.
During the fighting in Korea in 1950 large groups of civilians took to the roads, fleeing ahead of the front. Refugees usually carried personal belongings and the essentials in simple clothing of the period. The figure treats this theme factually and with regard to the historical context.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways while sanding. Use a quality primer. Paint the civilian clothing in muted, earthy tones, bring out the recesses with washes and model the folds with oil paints for a three-dimensional look.
This is a figure, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and a base are not included in the package.
