A colored, raised 3D decal for detailed improvement of the interior of the Soviet and Ukrainian KrAZ-260 heavy truck in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an add-on set from Quinta that replaces the flat plastic interior parts with three-dimensional, pre-colored elements. The set is shaped to suit the HobbyBoss plastic kit and contains 3D-printed colored elements on backing decal paper together with smaller 3D-printed resin parts.
The elements are thicker than ordinary decals, but they have no adhesive layer of their own: the part is cut out, dipped for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper onto a surface coated with gloss varnish, and on an intricate shape a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. On a matte surface the element will not hold. Do not use a decal softener or a decal setting solution, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Wash the resin parts before gluing and join them with cyanoacrylate.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
