This is a detail accessory set, not a stand-alone model. It combines an exactly turned metal barrel for the 85 mm D-5T gun with a faithfully cast resin mantlet for the Soviet heavy tanks KV-85 and JS-1 in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer is PANZER ART.
The KV-85 and the early JS-1 were transitional Soviet heavy tanks armed with the 85 mm D-5T gun. The robust mantlet and barrel make up a prominent part of the turret, so an exact replacement noticeably lifts the overall impression of a model. The set reproduces the characteristic configuration of both these vehicles.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry them. Give both the metal barrel and the resin a coat of primer and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory for an existing kit, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
