A conversion set for a model of the armored Land Rover Defender Snatch in 1:35. The base model is not included in the delivery.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Land Rover Defender is a British cross-country car that was also used in military service for many years. The designation Snatch refers to its armored version with a closed armored cab, that is a vehicle with a different superstructure, different glazing and different equipment from an ordinary Defender. It is exactly that difference that cannot be built from the basic kit without modification.
According to the name this is a conversion set, that is the parts that turn a model into the version stated. Compare the shapes of the parts with the kit you have before buying, and expect that a conversion usually means cutting away or sanding down part of the original parts.
The parts are not polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and epoxy on larger mating surfaces. Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand what remains so as not to damage the shape. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry; paint bonds badly to an untreated surface. Lay the parts out dry first and you will see where the mating surface needs work.
The basic kit of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
