The M16A2 is an American 5.56 mm assault rifle, introduced as the standard infantry weapon of the armed forces of the USA in the 1980s. It comes from the proven design of the AR-15/M16 family.
Separate the parts from the gates carefully and clean up the joints. The weapons usually stand out with a dark ground and a fine dry brush on the edges; the stocks and grips can be picked out in a shade according to the particular form.
