An accessory set from the Czech brand Black Dog in 1:35, meant for a model of the American M48A3 Patton tank. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory for it. The word big in the name sets this item apart from the smaller set for the same vehicle, which the brand makes alongside it, so both exist and you can choose according to how fully you want to equip the model.
The M48A3 is the diesel version of the American M48 Patton tank. The conversion was meant to deal with the main weakness of the older machines, namely their thirsty gasoline engine and short range, and it brought changes to the commander's cupola and the instrumentation as well. It was in exactly this form that the M48 reached Vietnam, where it served to support infantry, to escort convoys and for close fighting in vegetation. The tanks there were usually covered with everything imaginable: crates, drums, spare track links and the crew's personal belongings, because there was not enough room inside.
The Vietnam machines have a uniform olive coat on which accessories are easily lost. Paint them separately, therefore, and with a stronger distinction between materials, so that the canvas can be told from the wood and the metal. At the end tie the whole model together with shared dusting and a damp earthy weathering in the lower areas, which suits that setting better than dry desert dust.
It is an accessory for a model, not a model of the vehicle on its own.
