A set of well printed water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from the Star Decals brand. It brings markings for the late form of the M48A3 Patton tank in the service of the American marines (US Marines) during the war in Vietnam, specifically for the 1st Tank Battalion. This is an accessory to plastic models.
The late form of the M48A3 differed from the early one above all in the raised arrangement of the commander's cupola. The vehicles of the marines in Vietnam carried prominent names, tactical numbers and unit designations. The set reproduces these designs and makes it possible to build a particular machine of the 1st Tank Battalion.
Apply them onto a smooth gloss base, so that no silvering edge arises. Dip a decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the model. With a softener the decals will adhere to engraved detail; unify the end result with a matte varnish.
This is a set of decals on its own. A model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
