This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale combines a model of the American M4A1 Sherman medium tank with a set of infantry figures. The Italeri package contains rubber tracks that are glued into loops, decals for several marking options and instructions with a color guide. The combination of the vehicle and accompanying infantry is an ideal basis for a lively diorama.
The M4A1 was one of the first production versions of the Sherman and is recognized by its one-piece cast upper hull with rounded shapes. As standard it carried a 75 mm gun, and later a version with a high-velocity 76 mm gun appeared as well. The Sherman became the most widespread Allied tank of the Second World War and fought on every major front.
Finish and paint the running gear and the lower parts before you close the hull. The rubber tracks are easy to glue into loops and fit over the wheels. Over the base olive green, washes and dry pigments bring the model to life and create mud and dust effects. Paint the figures separately and set them into the diorama only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
