76.2mm OQF 17 pounder is a turned metal gun barrel from RB model reproducing the British anti-tank gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal gun barrel from RB model as a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory. The long metal gun barrel has a perfectly circular cross section and a sharp muzzle, which are hard to achieve in plastic.
The British 17-pounder Ordnance Quick-Firing (OQF) gun of 76.2 mm caliber was among the most effective Allied anti-tank guns of the Second World War. It was used both in towed form and built into armored vehicles, and it could punch through the armor of the heavy German tanks.
Degrease the metal part, remove the burrs and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Align the long gun barrel on the axis. Apply a metal primer before painting, and only then the shade and the weathering.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
