An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M561 Gama Goat articulated off-road truck in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the characteristic two-part design with the articulated joint between the towing and the cargo section. A figure is usually included.
The M561 Gama Goat was an American 6x6 off-road and amphibious truck developed in the 1960s. Its particular feature was the articulated joint between the four-wheeled towing section and the two-wheeled cargo section, which allowed the two modules to swivel independently and to cross obstacles in demanding terrain. It served the US Army to carry cargo and crews.
The articulated joint on the model is movable, thanks to which the vehicle can be built in an action pose in the terrain. Assemble the chassis and the six-wheel suspension according to the instructions. The vehicle comes out well with a matte olive coat from an airbrush, a wash into the details and dust pigments on the chassis and the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
