An injection-molded plastic kit of the South African Marmon-Herrington Mk.II armored car in the Mobile Field Force version in 1:35 scale from IBG. The kit is complemented by photo-etched parts and a faithfully rendered interior.
The Marmon-Herrington was an armored car built in the Union of South Africa and used by British and allied forces during the Second World War, above all in North Africa. The Mk.II version had all-wheel drive and was used for reconnaissance and patrol work. Thanks to its decent mobility and availability it became one of the widespread Allied armored vehicles of the early phases of the war.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Assemble and paint the interior before you close the hull; the model can be built with the doors and hatches open so that the detail shows. Apply a primer before painting; desert shades are best sprayed with an airbrush and brought to life at the end with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
