A set of cast resin wheels from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory for replacing the wheels in the plastic kits of the British heavy vehicles of the AEC range, the Matador artillery tractor and the Dorchester command vehicle. The casting captures the disc and the period Firestone tread of the tire.
The AEC Matador was a British artillery tractor with all-wheel drive, widely committed during the Second World War; the armored AEC Dorchester command vehicle was built on its chassis. These robust vehicles served in North Africa as well as in Europe. Faithful wheels with the tread of the period lift the realism of a model appreciably.
Wash the parts in warm water with detergent, cut off the casting blocks and smooth the surfaces; protect your airways while sanding. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Shade the tires with dust pigments and lay mud effects on the lower part to match the setting.
This is an accessory resin set, not a model of the vehicle. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
