A colored 3D decal from Quinta Studio in 1:35 scale. The set combines raised, fully pre-printed interior detail on carrier decal paper with additional 3D-printed resin parts that give the cabin of the helicopter spatial depth. It serves to improve the interior of a model of the MH-60L Black Hawk special operations helicopter: instrument panels, side consoles, seats and belts. It is based on the dimensions of the Kitty Hawk kit.
The MH-60L is a version of the Black Hawk adapted for US Army special operations. It is marked out by a richly equipped pilot's space and a cabin with a great deal of avionics, which makes a detailed interior a telling feature of a finished model.
Go over the cockpit surfaces beforehand with a gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22). Cut the decal part out, soak it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the carrier paper into place; it has no adhesive layer of its own, and on a broken-up surface a drop of super glue helps. Do not use decal softener or fixer, as they would damage the printed resin. Wash the enclosed resin parts free of print residue, cut off the print supports and glue them with super glue. The whole can be evened out with a matte varnish.
This is an accessory, not a model of a helicopter. The base Kitty Hawk kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
