1:35 MH-60L TFace is a two-sided Eduard masking set: it covers the glazing of a model of the helicopter from outside and from inside the cabin in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The TFace designation means that the sheet holds two sets of templates: one for the outer side of the glazing and a second, shaped differently, for the inner side. Thanks to that you can spray the inner shade of the cabin frames separately and leave the camouflage on the outside, exactly as it looks on the real machine. It is neither a kit nor parts of a model, but self-adhesive masks of kabuki paper.
On a helicopter in a large scale the glazing is large, articulated and above all easy to see through. If the frames are sprayed only from outside, the transparent areas give away that bare clear plastic has been left on the inside. A two-sided set solves this difference and at the same time protects the inside of the cabin from paint dust, because the glazing stays covered on both sides until the painting is finished.
The MH-60L is the transport variant of the Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter intended for American special purpose units. Characteristic of it are the equipment for night operations, auxiliary tanks on side pylons and machine gun armament in the side doors.
Stick the inner masks on before the fuselage is glued together, while the glazing can still be reached well. Use tweezers and press down with a wooden toothpick. Spray the inner shade first, then mask the glazing from outside and continue with the base coat and the camouflage. Remove the masks by pulling at an acute angle.
This is an accessory for building a model. Neither paints nor the kit itself are included in the package.
