Voyager Model is a Chinese manufacturer of photo-etched aftermarket sets for military subjects in 1:35 scale. The parts are developed for the AFV Club 35S82 kit.
The NM-116 is a Norwegian upgrade of the American M24 Chaffee light tank, carried out in the 1970s. The vehicle received a new diesel engine, a revised transmission, an upgraded fire control system and a 90 mm gun, thanks to which it served in the anti-tank role long after the original type had been retired. The Norwegian modification also brought a series of small external changes: different covers, clamps, protective plates and the smoke grenade launchers on the turret.
Photo-etched parts have their value in a fineness that paint can easily bury. Once they are degreased, lay on the thinnest possible primer, ideally with an airbrush from a greater distance, so that the coat stays no more than a flat film for the paint to hold on. Then spray the covering shade in several passes and let it dry between coats. On perforated parts and mesh in particular, watch that the paint does not start to gather in the openings, which happens with too wet an application or when spraying square on from close up. Keep the brush for small touching up only.
The set holds photo-etched parts, not a plastic kit. The glue, paints, tools and the base model are not included in the package.
